It has been a while...

yeah sorry about that.

We are still alive, chasing up contacts and leads,
some progress but not enough unfortunately.
Still gluttons for punishment we try and keep
and trying, with the blind hope someone will
give us the chance to show the fruits of our labour.
It will happen it is just a case of when.

Back to re-runs of gilmore girls, and perfecting
our work pdf.

Snid factor 7 at the minute and rising...

you can take our soul, but never
take our sky plus.

Cheers for the birthday wishes Joanne. I am eating cake.

Moment of the week.

Jo 'What is that, is that real?'

Loren 'yes Jo that is a willow plant'

Later that day to group of colleagues at a quiz night...

Jo ' Loren is really intelligent, she knew this plant thing today was a willow, she is dead clever...'

This demonstrates Jo's simpleton mind, not my vast knowledge of the world we live in.

Maybe you had to be there...

Anyway keep a eye out for a link to our online portfolio. Coming soon. To a cinema near you.

Our placement is continuing for an extra 2 weeks as some absolutely insane creatives dropped out of their placement here and we were asked to stay on.we bit pauls arm off and now are beginning our 3rd week here at TBWA!

Guess where?.......... Tbwa.

Livin la vida snid is rather less snid filled. Second week at tb dubstep and its going rather spiffing. We peasants have been located in ghd village, with proper grown up desks and everything. Paul has set us reet good brief, back in the swing now and belted out some sweet ideas, with a dose of grim along the way. 'Skulkster' has now skulked past and on his 5th helping of cooked bread. I have never seen someone eat so much toast. bread head.

Being set a new brief today, just looked up at Jo, she is fly catching again, she caught me looking at her, followed by 'What?'and a snarl. Shes a treat. She cycled to work this morning, I cruised past her in my passion wagon (a 'vintage' corsa if you were wondering), gave her the courtesy of a holla, but the bitch blanked me.

Sik ass news alert. We are sticking around for a month, beats drinking vodka in bed, snuggled up and watching gossip girl. Well buzzing with that piece of news. Haway, longer to annoy people into liking us has to be good. In the words of Jen Hudson '...you and you and you...your gonna love me...'.

Nuff updates for now pet.
I'm very busy and important.

living in levenshulme ghetto, unemployed and skint. this is what we often refer to as 'the snid life'. for those of you who dont know, snid means snide, which means pretty god dam awful. The one thing that brings us together to make the snid life more bearable is crackin' open a few tinnys of strongbow in the evening and bitching about said snid life.
why are we living the snid life? why dont we get a 9 to 5 and live the good life? because in our quest to become creative advertising extraordinaires, its endless blood sweat and strongbow. knowing we will one day crack this industry, pulling our feet out of each others arses and gettin them in an ad agencys door.
this blog is to give an insight of our journey to getting that first job in advertising. Maybe giving you an idea of whether its worth rubbing shoulders with the crem de la crem of manchesters finest crak'eds at the job centre or avioding the kitchen after 3am as to avoid sydney hankering for scraps and willing to fight anyone who gets in his way.sydney is our gigantic rat.he isnt a pet, he was there first though, so to evict him would be extremely unfair.
